CIO Media Project
Most of my waking hours feel as they’re spent on the new Media Project for the Center for Intercultural Organizing. This is a good thing, though! I’ve been burning through a $68,000 capital grant from MHCRC equiping the Project with all kinds of video & editing equipment. Of this, the Kodak Zi8 HD Pocket Hi-def video camera as been the most fun! We bought 10 as our “Community Activist Camera”. The first training was in mind October – with about 20 participants from the Pilot Program getting 4 hours of hands-on training. Here’s a short video of some of the group:
